Apple’s new CPU chip, what is old is new again.

While not a techie, I can appreciate how a simple design is more efficient and effective than a complex design. In this video Apple did not create the RISC chip, Apple did improve on a simple idea. At the 8:40 minute mark I was amazed at how little, if any, power the the chip used. This is a great business lesson on the KISS method of business (Keep It Simple Student/Stupid). I thought the student reference would offer a better acronym. Another lesson was the lack of foresight of Intel. What will Intel do after Apple seemingly has replaced the it as the best chip in the market? Stay tuned.
