Few Audits from the IRS, and no, this not a good thing

Over the last four years the budget of the IRS has shrunk more than usually. The one government office we all agree to avoid. This is not a good thing. Government services must be paid for, like the Post Office. The group who benefit the most from the smaller IRS is the group who owe the must, the economically advantaged.

An eight-year campaign to slash the agency’s budget has left it understaffed, hamstrung and operating with archaic equipment. The result: billions less to fund the government. That’s good news for corporations and the wealthy.
